Paul and Carla Roberts - International Music
Performing together for 35 years
Using world folk instruments in traditional and creative ways, Paul & Carla have enjoyed a colorful career performing together since 1974. Their fine arts concerts at cultural centers, festivals and universities are always greeted with a high level of enthusiasm.
“A World of Music,” Paul and Carla's fast-paced elementary school assembly program, has been experienced by over a million children. The husband and wife team are co-founders and directers of Elation Center for the Arts in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

Albuquerque Folk Festival June 19th and 20th New Mexico State Fairgrounds
Saturday at 12:00 - Strum and Drum
Paul and Carla's banjo and drumming workshop, children use folk music as a framework for exploring self-expression and creativity through rhythm, singing and improvised dance.
Paul and Carla will also do a demonstration of their international instruments on Saturday as well - 2 pm on the Demonstration Stage |

5th Annual Mancos Renaissance Faire June 27th and 28th
Pagosa Springs Renaissance and Pirate Festival July 18th and 19th Paul and Carla bring along an entire troupe of dancers and musicians for a colorful international performance with an emphasis on Middle Eastern music and dance. Featured are our two dance troupes and drum and flute students. |
